This charming, licensed restaurant, with its high ceilings, terracotta floors and fresh décor, is situated in the Bloomingdales Lifestyle Centre complex in Main Road, Walmer.  The large deck that overlooks the lush nursery and a koi pond is a delightful spot for a summer lunch or, when enclosed, a cosy sanctuary for breakfast or tea.

The décor is fresh and relaxed (“I would give bonus points for the quirky, unmatched but proper cloth napkins!” – London-based food blogger) and the menus, displayed on chalkboards, list the enjoyable meals that are offered.  The menu changes regularly according to what’s in season and each day brings a new “Chef’s Special of the Day”.

Our breakfast / brunch menu features light options like muesli, as well as muffins and scones (sweet and savoury).  Appetising treats like frittata, omelettes and eggs Benedict are some of the other popular dishes that bring our clients back on a regular basis.

The lunch menu entices one with homemade gourmet burgers, creative and fresh salads, delectable sandwiches, an antipasti platter and homemade quiches with a lovely, crisp pastry and imaginative fillings such as rosa tomatoes and olives.

Our prices are reasonable, ranging from about R15 to R55.  The wine list includes both South African and Italian wines.
